Join me as I spend ten weeks completing a work exchange at a hostel in Sofia, Bulgaria. This video covers the first week of this adventure as I travel to Sofia and get settled into my new home -- an 18-bed hostel dorm in an attic. My first week may not have played out as planned, but I was grateful to have been joined by my close friend, Vlad. In addition to getting settled in, I found myself inadvertently wandering around Sofia University, struggling with the simple task of getting my laundry done, and searching for an ever-coveted floor fan.
